Account Manager – West Texas
Cardinal Coil Tubing
Summary: Sells Coil Tubing products and/or services to new or existing customers. Interacts with established customers and performs follow up. Requires some sales experience and general knowledge of the division’s policies, and products/services and their application.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Speaks with customers and company personnel onshore and discuss job problems.
- Speaks with dispatcher for pre-loading a job.
- Works with administrative personnel in processing tickets.
- Ensures that all required training is current at all times.
- Attends all safety related meetings and follow all safety regulations and guidelines as defined by Cardinal or its customers.
- Conducts oneself in a professional manner at all times to include personal appearance and interaction with the customer/company man.
Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of one to three years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills/abilities
- Ability to drive long distances in all types of weather
- Has working knowledge of all Company services
- Current Coil Tubing practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry
- Knowledge, competency and experience in related field
- Current practices, equipment, materials, and supplies used in the Coil Tubing services business
- Good verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills
- Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, both internal and external
- Operates various office equipment: personal computer, copy machine, fax machine and telephone system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Leading, directing, and mentoring individuals to accomplish common goals
- Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, according to applicable procedures and/or work order
- Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
