SummarySupervises or coordinates Slickline/Electric line Operators and Assistants in a district or operating area, providing technical support for Slickline and Eline applications. Provides guidance and troubleshoots problems encountered, provides technical support to field personnel and assures proficiency. Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Works closely with the Operations Supervisor to plan, establish and maintain product and service quality objectives for the district, consistent with the customer, corporate goals and objectives. Maintains a close working relationship with all levels of the district work force to ensure that a system of open communication exists.· May analyze well plans for proper tool applications· Assists the Operations Managers in providing supervision and evaluation of the job performance for personnel through job performance reviews and on the job evaluations.· Assists the Operations Managers in counseling and discipline of employees when necessary. · Ensures that the district is in compliance with and all Cardinal, customer and regulatory agencies’ rules, regulations, policies and procedures (i.e., quality, safety, environmental, personnel, training, etc.).· Ensures that communication with the work force is open and two-way through the use of pre-job planning, post-job reviews and monthly safety meetings.· Communicates with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is in working order and discuss necessary repairs and associated costs. · Maintains a safe work area or job site by following Cardinal’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) and Standard Operating (SOP’s) procedures manuals. · Assists in operations and load out of equipment for jobs.· Must be able to assist an operator having Slickline issues over phone and also during job.· Must be able to demonstrate the operation of any and all equipment and/or units involved in Slickline and Eline services.· Must be able to instruct/mentor operators and assistants in operations.· Responsible for ensuring that all required training is current at all times and attending all safety related meetings as defined by Cardinal or its customers.· Demonstrates behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible serving as a role model for all district personnel and customers.
- Ability to work a “24 hour on call” schedule
- Accurately completes/maintains necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, according to applicable procedures and/or work order
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesPerform all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include supervising and training employees on your crew ; planning, directing work. Education/ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of three to five years of running memory tools/logging and perforating. Or 3-5 years as an electric line engineer. Knowledge/Skills/abilities· Current Slickline and electric line practices and technology used in the oil and gas industry· Knowledge, competency and experience in related field· Current practices, equipment, materials, and supplies used in the Slickline/Electric line services business· Good verbal and written communication and troubleshooting skills· Building and maintaining positive customer relationships, both internal and external· Operates various office equipment: personal computer, copy machine, fax machine and telephone system.· Ability to operate Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. · Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems· Leading, directing, and mentoring individuals to accomplish common goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to wear necessary PPE
- Must be able to work in remote locations
- Must be able to ride in Helicopter
